Translation missing: en.collections[multi].general.collection_label: Mannochmore
An integral part of some of the world’s best-loved blends, Mannochmore whisky is perfumed and floral, like a fine white wine. Built next to its older sister distillery Glenlossie, Mannochmore is the only distillery to share a location – and sometimes a workforce – with another distillery. Curiously, despite their close relationship, the two whiskies are completely unique.

Surprisingly clean, dry and refreshingly direct. Mannochmore makes a good aperitif with its light, grassy and herbal notes.

Serving Suggestion:
Mannochmore works best served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.

Region An atypical Speyside.
Appearance Pale gold or white wine.
Body Light to medium in body, like a fine wine.
Nose Sweet and lightly malty, then some aldehydic notes emerge, with a whiff of brimstone.
Palate Fresh and clean – appetising with good acidity and a well-balanced dryness overall.
Finish Surprisingly dry in the finish for a Speyside.

Expert Reviews

Insights from some of the best in the business

Perfumed and fresh on the light, citric nose, with a sweet, floral, fragrant palate, featuring vanilla, ginger and even a hint of mint. Medium length in the finish, with a note of lingering almonds.

Gavin D Smith, Malt Whisky Yearbook 2015, p.159

Rich, bonnie and complex. Not showing off, just beaming.

Martine Nouet 2002, Whisky Magazine, Issue 27

Buttery, with lemon, sweet dough and floral notes on the nose, oily, malty and floral on the palate and with a relatively short finish.

Dominic Roskrow, Malt Whisky Yearbook 2015, p.159
