Celebrating 200 Years. Johnnie Walker began its pioneering history in 1820 when young John Walker used the money from the sale of the family farm to set up a grocer’s shop. Most grocers stocked single malts but they were inconsistent. John started blending the whiskies together so they tasted just as good every time. New generations of the family developed the whisky until 1909 when Johnnie Walker Black Label was born. The leading illustrator of the day sketched a logo and the Striding Man was created. Today, Johnnie Walker is the biggest whisky brand in the world and its slogan has been embraced everywhere as a joyful expression of optimism - Keep Walking.

This Origin story is for people who want to explore fruity and light Scotch whiskies with hints of cut green apples and fresh orchard fruit. It is crafted exclusively from a variety of quality single malts from the Speyside region of Scotland.

Serving Suggestion:
Like all Johnnie Walker whiskies, this is best enjoyed however you see fit. It is a beautifully balanced whisky with a smooth and vibrant finish and it works particularly well with a splash of soda, straight, or on the rocks. It also works particularly well as part of a Lowball. The light, fresh fruity notes of the Speyside edition are perfectly complimented with light and vibrant elderflower cordial and brought to life with a splash of soda.

Nose Take in the luxurious scent of rich and tropical dark fruits with hints of sweet vanilla.
Palate Savour the depth of flavour developed from maturation in oak casks, combined with creamy toffee notes that come from grain whiskies.
