Moved and renamed, rescued and preserved, Inchgower became more than just a distillery for its founders and his loyal workers. It was an idea – a reaction to increasing land prices, and a commitment to Single Malt Scotch Whisky – and one of the only distilleries to inspire a poem.

This 14 year old single malt whisky is a conundrum, in which the aromatics, and even the flavour, change continually. This is a complex and interesting mix with a sweet palate and bitter finish.

Serving Suggestion:
Inchgower works best served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.

Region Speyside, but more coastal than Speyside.
Appearance Deep amber.
Body Medium bodied and mouth filling.
Nose Rich and deep and faintly toffied. After a while offers some short-crust pastry and fruit, then vaguely 'gun-metal'.
Palate Sweet overall, but also curiously mouth-drying, with some salt and traces of oil.
Finish A saccharine-bitter finish that leaves an aftertaste of almonds.
