Insights from some of the best in the business

Delicate and fragrant on the nose, with hints of malt, worn leather, and hay. Quite full in the mouth, smooth and honeyed, with gingery malt and a suggestion of white rum. Medium length in the finish, with cereal and more ginger.

Gavin D Smith, Malt Whisky Yearbook 2015, p.146

Beeswax, honey and gentle peat on the nose, the palate is altogether bolder, with pepper and earthy peat in evidence mixing it with very sweet crystallised barley and a sweet and rounded finish.

Dominic Roskrow, Malt Whisky Yearbook 2015, p.146
